Is Atlanta for Real?

Mr. Cheesy is far from being a mousy mouse. This mouse in the house makes all the insect students tremble, as he is the most feared teacher at Stone Mountain Academy—yet there’s a brave bunch willing to challenge him.

Mr. Cheesy sometimes mixes up words. He insists that Pacific is a man who hates weapons, and he’s absolutely convinced that the city of Atlanta doesn’t exist. According to him, it’s nothing but an old, silly legend—and if it ever did exist, it surely sank long ago, perhaps resting somewhere at the bottom of Lake Lanier.

Unwilling to accept his claim, a group of daring students plans a grand expedition. Their goal? To prove, once and for all, that Atlanta is for real!

Join them on their courageous journey as they set out to find a city that may or may not exist.

The Wizard Snaileater and an Autistic Prince

Once upon a time, there lived an autistic prince who loved Minecraft. His father, the king, was troubled by two things—Prince Crispin took ages to finish even the simplest tasks, and whenever something went wrong, he would hit himself on the head.

Desperate to help his son, the king invited doctors, healers, and wise men from all over Europe. Among them was a wizard named Snaileater, a once-rich magician now living in a small chalet in the Alps after several copyright lawsuits. The wizard offered the king a very unusual solution: he would create a magical island for the prince.

The king liked the idea. But then something unexpected happened. The prince talked to the wizard about Minecraft for so long that the wizard’s head started to ache… and in a moment of distraction, he made a rookie mistake. His magic wand went completely dead—and recharging it would take two whole months.

The only one who might help was a hero named Arnold, who, after a magical weight-loss treatment, had been left with wings as a rather inconvenient side effect.

And so, the autistic prince, the winged hero, and a psychiatrist set out to fix a spell gone wrong. But someone—someone mysterious—keeps standing in their way…

A fantasy adventure full of humor and magic, written by the mother of an autistic ten-year-old whose own little “prince” makes her laugh and drives her crazy at the same time—and who became her greatest inspiration for this story.
